With a background in both law enforcement and legal practice, Chris Worthington brings a unique perspective to his role as Legal Production Manager at Carolina Family Estate Planning. Known for his steady leadership and team-first mindset, Chris plays a key role in streamlining internal operations and supporting the firm’s mission of delivering high-quality, client-focused service.
Originally from Massachusetts, Chris has lived throughout the Northeast before settling in North Carolina with his wife, Lauren. Together, they’re raising three children—Connor, Arianna, and Natalie—alongside a Himalayan cat named Tito and a Shih Tzu dog named Via.
Chris holds an associate degree and a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and earned his Juris Doctor from the Massachusetts School of Law. He is a licensed attorney in Massachusetts and a retired police officer, honored for his acts of bravery and service, including the Medal of Valor and two Life Saving Awards. Chris describes his career as dynamic and rewarding. While his career has taken many forms, a deep commitment to service has been the common thread—whether in the field, the courtroom, or now behind the scenes, helping clients and colleagues alike.
Outside of work, you’ll often find him on a nature hike with his family, in the kitchen preparing his famously delicious chicken cutlets, or cheering on the New England Patriots—he never misses a game. He also enjoys playing Texas Hold ’Em and is always up for a good laugh. Those who know him best describe him as loyal, fair, and the kind of guy who always has a well-timed joke ready.
